When Life Goes Left While You Want It Right
There is nothing certain in life.
People are unable to predict what they are going to encounter in the next split second. A disaster? A new hope? A novel idea? A groundbreaking move?
Nonetheless, destiny shapes lives that way. You might see your driveway is about to turn right, but it turns out it is turning left.
People make wishes; we all have expectations. Yet, destiny is the one that decides. Sometimes, it brings you to the left not because you are not capable of overcoming what’s on the right. Perhaps it drives you to the left because your prize is there.
It can be heartbreaking at times, seeing how life crumbles in front of you because your plan is drifting away from you. However, that break can also be the start of something new.
Upon facing what we usually call a life crisis, I begin to realize that turning left is not always a mistake. Eventually, in life, you cannot split yourself to walk through both paths simultaneously. Eventually, we have to choose.
Left? Or right?
Neither of them is a mistake. Each has its own obstacles and joys.
Accepting and believing that the best things meant for you will come to you would make life much more serene than constantly expecting and then breaking into pieces.
